Is this site secure?

Yes. We utilize best-in-class security infrastructure with all communications and transfers occurring over a 128 to 256-bit SSL encryption secure connection.

 

Our infrastructure features redundant firewall protection, redundant web application protection, DoS and DDoS mitigation, monitored intrusion detection, VPN/SSL and multi-factor authentication for server management for our infrastructure. Our hosting environment also provides protection against MITM attacks, IP spoofing, Port Scanning, and Packet Sniffing.

Does ChartFast have my medical records?

No, your records are managed by your healthcare provider on their own secure systems. ChartFast provides a platform that assists healthcare providers in the processing of medical record requests.

 

The records will be delivered to you by the medical provider through our platform (unless you specify otherwise).  The records are uploaded onto our secure platform for quick access. Once payment has been received the records will be released to you.

How do I make a request?

To make a request, please first register for a free ChartFast account here.

 

Upon login, you can create a new request under the Request Tab by clicking the “Make a New Request for Record” button.

How does ChartFast work?

ChartFast offers healthcare providers and requestors a simple, yet powerful solution for medical record requests.

 

Our platform consolidates requests online and provides a medical records management system that receives requests, reviews authorizations, responds to requestors’ questions, automates compliance with HIPAA disclosures rules, charges, bills and collects payments, and ultimately releases the requested records.

 

We reduce phone calls, faxing, copying and mailing to make your work easier!

How does ChartFast reduce costs and increase collections for providers?

ChartFast does a number of things to increase providers’ collections.

 

First, we bill and receive payment for medical records requests before the records are released. This eliminates waiting and risk of non-payment.

 

Second, our platform allows for the ordering of additional optional paid services.

 

Third, we auto-generate charges allowing providers the option to charge according to requestor type.

 

ChartFast reduces costs by eliminating much of the manual and off-line work required in request entry. We free administrative staff from monitoring the phone and fax in favor of getting medical records requests online.

 

Records staff no longer must manually calculate charges, enter and submit bills.  Instead they can handle the request quickly and efficiently, online.

How does ChartFast protect the privacy of patients and comply with HIPAA?

In compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), ChartFast takes measures to ensure that all private health information (PHI) transferred through our platform remains private.

Does ChartFast work with paper and electronic health records (EHRs)?

Yes, ChartFast can process requests for both paper and electronic medical records.

How do I setup a provider or requestor account?

To setup an account, simply register here.  On the login screen select whether you are a new requestor or a new custodian (provider).

 

Once your account is activated, you can set up your landing page and you are open for business!  We’ve got a number of resources to help you make the transition to ChartFast, including account managers, training programs and instructional videos.
